Some tape was released to the FBI guys. They played some of it this morning.

Some guy wearing a big scarf was talking about American oppression, our blood, yadda yadda.

WHat bothered me was not as much the sentiment but how CLEAN the spoken words were. Sounded more British/American hybrid than anything typically associated with the Middle East.

Could it be a hoax to scare us, so close to the election?

6. That tape is BULLSHIT!

Just the fact that it came out yesterday, just in time for the weekend news, is suspicious. It was OBVIOUSLY not Al Qaeda. The U.S. will flow in a sea of blood? This administration is SICK. That tape should be investigated. All the "other" tapes were sent to Al Jazeera. Why not that one? I know why. Al Jazeera wouldn't buy it as being Al Qaeda, because it isn't. Complete BULLSHIT. I think the media knows it's bullshit too because they aren't playing it over and over and over and over again.

Al Qaeda has never put out any tapes threatening imminent attacks.

In the excerpts I've seen, there's no mention of dates at all. So this is not a 'tied to the election' video - apart from the timing of the release, which itself may point to Repub operatives.

So, even if the tape is genuine, what's new? Al Qaeda still hates the USA. It's not as if they called a cease fire earlier.
