Here's why Cheney's going to Hawaii..
That may be the only way they can get to 270.. This map may be their best-case scenario...

If the votes get cast and counted properly, he's a goner..

make your own map

2. Oh, I think Kerry willl get Nevada AND Hawaii, AND New Mexico
but I think the Bushies know they HAVE to get all of them..because PA, and OH are going Kerry..

Kerry may even get Florida..but... even WITH Florida, Bush HAS to have NM,NV and HI

12. Watch Washington State
Bigget counties in the state now running with uncertified, untested software. Put in just before the primaries.

Secretary of State gave "provisional" certification and the counties won't remove it and according to Votersunite, most of it will NEVER be tested.

Watch King, Pierce, Snohomish counties closely. Also, Kitsap, Chelan and Klicktat.

3. Cheney wants to make Hawaii into a tie-breaker state
so the Republican Congressional aides will have a really nice place to riot.

4. All of a sudden Hawaii, were they trying to trick Kerry into
taking a long plane flight to waste his time? I don't think chimp stands a chance there.

5. It may be their ONLY chance..

If Kerry gets Ohio and Pennsylvania, Bush, HAS to run the table or he won't hit 270..

and I think the internal polls are telling him that Kerry will get some of the other states, so it's a "Hail (Mary) Cheney Pass"..

Alohaaaaa , big dick

Hawaii going for Bush. They are a tourism state and as long as Bush does nothing about terrorism and keeps all his focus on oil tourism will suffer. On top of that look what walmart did there. I would be outraged if I was in Hawaii. And plus Bush is bad for the environment and if the weather keeps gettin warmer than Hawaii will drown in the sea.

7. I don't see it either, but i think they know they have lost PA & OH
They are desperate..

I can even see them losing Alaska, if enough dems vote to get rid on "daughter-dearest"..they will most likely vote for Kerry..

Kerry could get over 347 EV.. That would be a hoot..they would have no reason to contest ANYTHING with a wide margin:)

9. Nobody likes Cheney and now Arkansas is IN PLAY
Cheney is detested by women voters and any guy who has ever worked for a corporate goon like him. Let him go show his snarley face. Little good it will do.

On the other hand if Clinton goes to Arkansas this weekend....
Take that map see what happens when the Dems win Hawaii, Arkansas and New Hampshire. Bush is trying to do damage control in NH. That won't work.

14. Don't be too quick to put NM in the Bush column.
Bush should not count on NM's electoral votes given all he has recently done to piss off senior citizens.

I would say the same about FL, but I have the nasty feeling that FL will go for Bush -- not, mind you, because more people actually voted for him. But NM is not a bannana republic run by Bush's brother.

16. I DO think Kerry will get NM,, It's just that Bush HAS to have it
If Kerry gets the states I have in Blue...Bush is the one that MUST run the table..He cannot lose a single state..

He can't lose AK,HI,FL,WV,IA..

He has to have them ALL..

HE'S the one "in trouble"

15. don't forget that one West Virginia "republican" elector
the guy was on with Franken yesterday and said he was not at all sure he would be casting his electoral vote for bush ... even with the scenario you cited, that would return the electoral count to a tie ...

of course, that doesn't ultimately help very much ...

anyway, Kerry's going to win New Mexico and maybe a few other states ...

interesting analysis though ... thanks ...
