The demands on Bush intensified as he returned to Washington from a month-long stay at his Texas ranch. The vacation has been marred by violence in Iraq including Friday's car bombing in Najaf, which killed a top Shi'ite Muslim leader, and the bombing of the U.N. headquarters in Baghdad.

have a lot of damned nerve marring out great leaders vacation. I know how I hated unpleasentries on my vacation (I only used to get 3 weeks though, GW gets at least 3 months) so I know where he's coming from. Why doesn't the world shape up and leave our glorious leader alone. He can't be bothered with wars, civil disorder, the economy and such. There are fundraisers to hold, treasuries to raid. Jeeeeesh! The nerve of these people!
