People Don't Know he Iraq Troop Death Toll. Anecdotal proof:
Hubby put up 2 signs last weekend-- "We Support The Troops nd The Veterans-- we wish the President would!" and a mall sign with the death toll (around 1101 when he put it up--now several #'s have been crossed off and it's up to 1108.

Our neighbors (a mid-level manager, a delivery man, a secretary @ Exxon, an elementary school teacher, and a stay=at-home mom of three--the list so far--have each asked what that number stands for! When they're told they are clearly taken aback. These folks are for the most-part Reep-leaning and the media connives to keep them ignorant.

1108. Disgusting.

5. Not necessarily. I make a point of stating the death, wounded numbers
and the financial costs and it seems to piss some people off. My relatives are still going to lining up to vote for blinky* and our piece of crap rep. I've decided that some people truly don't care.

4. One more # to add: $1 billion a week
Even if they don't care about the Americans we're losing, maybe they'll have second thoughts about where their taxes are going.

7. They don't even know how much of a tax cut they got either...
Most likely amounts to maybe $3-4.00 per week but I'd bet anything they can't tell you exactly. All they know is the RW mantra that Bush cut my taxes!!. Big whoop, their now paying about 75 cents per gallon more than when Clinton was in office. So much for their tax cut. Those people are soooo easily fooled by that crap.
