Chaos reigns in Iraq...
http://observer.guardian.co.uk/international/story/0,6903,1032622,00.html

Can someone explain to me how the Baathists are behind all the chaos when most of the top has been captured and most of the rest have been killed? The stuff really stinks in Iraq. Everyone who predicted that our unjustified invasion would lead to anarchy and destablization of the entire region was correct. As things heat up in Iraq, Israel launches more and more brutal attacks on the Palestinians and the rest of the world hardly notices.

1. I think all the citizens in Iraq are behind the chaos.
They were invaded and they know the US is there to steal their oil. And the US seems to be doing nothing to get things going. Someone who went over there to look for themselves noted that the people getting the top clean up jobs have no experience. The plan may be to keep things insane because the US cannot get out until it has possession of the oil wells. At least in the hands of US companies forever. And you can bet that if the Iraqis ever got their own government with their choice of leaders (not the puppet government the US has installed) the last ones to get any oil contracts would be US firms. I think after 14 years of hell, the Iraqis are a little fed up with us.

2. I think the US media is scared of their collaboration with *.
On the way home from work yesterday, I heard that 75+ people were killed in the mosque bombing. I thought for sure it would be plastered over all the news but to my surprise the coverage was quite limited. Even Nightline did a 25 year anniversary of "Animal House."

This morning there was very little coverage.
