How Come "Hardball"-Tweety Doesn't "Do" Enron OR O'Lielly Stories?
When the Enron story broke in November 2001 and broke HARD in January 2002, Tweety spent the NEXT FIVE MONTHS declaring that the Middle East was THE story to cover. He even did a Geraldo helicopter flight over ARRAFAT's headquarters, complete with aviator's glasses.

To date, he has NOT done a SINGLE Enron story.

Now, today, he ain't doing an O'LIELLY story. Where's the HARDball around here?

1. Because his "hardballs" have been busted by the Gestapo.
Now we have softballs for the GOP and the White House and fascist propaganda balls against any dissent whatsoever. My opinion anyway. There was a time around 1995 that I used to enjoy reading Chris's essays in the SF Chronicle. He was one of us then. Something happened that turned him into Tweety subsequently. Maybe he was just a media whore all along, just pandering to whomever he felt his readership/viewership was.
