So I'm listening to a Canadian show broadcast on WAMU here in DC called As It Happens - anyway they've got an interview with an Auto Insurance guy that's talking about installing sensors on cars to track mileage, speed etc and then have that info sent to insurance companies. If you "behave" you get a discount.
NOW, let's suppose that logic is applied to EZ-Pass. When can we expect the Insurance Industry to ask the federal government for EZ-Pass data so they can track individual drivers?
There are myriad ways the Insurance Industry can justify this practice, including only insuring drivers that will sign a waiver giving the Insurance Company access to the data, or sneaking it into the small print.......
The Chimp and his gang are certainly no friends of civil liberties, especially as they kneel before their corporate masters
