Farhrenheit 9/11 DVD release could not have been better timed.
I Find it very satisfying that the release of F 9/11 on DVD could not have come at a better time. With the conjunction of Bush's lie in the debate about not saying he didn't care about OBL and James Bakers shenanigans with the carlyle group and the Iraqi Debt comming to light only reinforcing that Mr. Moore got it right.

Now those of who have seen the film and actually keep ourselves informed there really was not all that much new in the film, it was just all put in one place rather than spread out over several years time. But for those who have not done as good a job of keeping themselves informd F 9/11 can be a bit of a shocker and for those people the fact that Moore got those things right in his film will only make the rest of the film more powerful.

1. I wanted Moore to advertise the bad reviews
and then mention how they haven't seen the film. Contrast that with the good reviews who actually have seen the film. Its amazing how much the Republicans keep pushing the "Moore is a liar" story but never actually get him in any lies. No shame.

2. It's a pisser that the movie isn't going to be on Pay-Per-View
I wonder how many more people would be able to watch it if it was ... the people who order instead of rent videos and wouldn't buy it outright.

3. The Anti-Kerry Film
I hope that run of "Stolen Honor" the TV stations are planning to run does not out-do F911. This could not come at a worse time!

4. I for one am not interested in that film
My copy of F911 is out there working for our party. I have about 5 families lined up to borrow it, not counting family. At least one puke has viewed it and he sat silent. I assume his eyes were opened slightly, but haven't spoken to him. The video is making the rounds and all I can say is Go John Kerry!

6. dream on
no matter how much bad TV is out there, a POS by any other name, is still a POS. I just watched F-911 with a friend of mine who tried at first to give his version of what he was seeing. I dont expect to change his vote, and it doesnt matter in a "safe" state. What does matter is he just got a large dose of genuine information, and that is something the right wing fascist media wont offer. He is now infected with the truth, and any fascist attempts to bullshit American voters are futile in comparison with what Michael Moore has wrought. Sorry.

7. one unfortunate aspect of the timing-
It came out on the same day (in many if not most states) that was the last day to register to vote in the nov. election- 30 days prior.

in that respect, if it riles someone up enough to want to register and vote, they're SOL...

nearly 120 million in domestic box office. It has infected the American conciousness beyond any expectation, it would appear though, that some around here are slow to appreciate it. Quick to point out perceived failings though. Hmmmmmmmmm....
Anyone lacksadaisical enough not to be registered scarcely deserves concern. or the title of citizen, for that matter.
