Bush already had his base motivated in 2000
That's all they could muster was a win on a technicality. THis was a time when dems were embarassed by Clinton's scandal and felt like they owed one to the other side.

We will now see that same Bush base, less the people who he has alienated against the now-awakened formerly-sleeping giant.

The only way Bush can win is by fraud.

CNN just announced their first polling results Kerry 52 to Bush 39 a better score than Kerry made in the first.

Bill hemmer's show of hands for undecideds showed 7 hands for Bush and 10 hands for Kerry.

You are right. Bush's base has been voting en masse since 1994.

The battle is for the "independents" and, even more importantly, new voters. Voters are registering in record numbers. I don't think its for Bush.
