Well, I thought it was the most UNsatisfying debate I've ever seen.
Kerry held his own. Bush even "held his own" in a perverse way.

The questions were not the most pressing IMO.

The general & rebuttal formats were just wanting.

Except for bunkerboy's "...oh nevermind..." moment, not much else memorable except for his lies.

1. I would agree
There were moments when I thought Kerry did pretty well, and there were moments where I thought an uninformed voter might THINK Bush responded well, but overall I think this just maintains the current situation, which is good for Kerry.

2. the spittle was so distracting
Was I the only one distracted by the white glob of spittle at the right corner of *'s mouth? He was so joky tonight and no one laughed with him until the end. Kerry did great at the end.

4. I saw that too!
I thought I was just getting bad reception because I don't have cable.

5. We have cable
it was really disturbing and made him look unaware of himself.

3. I'm just disappointed
the little freak didn't lose it in any of the debates I mean as in go balistic or something - now that would have been good TV and so very SWEET

6. Smirky, blinky with spittle
stumbled over words. It was clear who sounds more presidential. Bush in the second debate beat bush from the first debate and bush in the third debate bested bush from the second debate, however, he was supposed to get the best of Kerry. Kerry held his own. This was his major introduction to the American people. I think he and Edwards benefited from the 4 debates overall.

12. I would agree
These four debates have been great for Kerry/Edwards.

7. I suppose it's a blessing, tho.
The repukes really expected Kerry to bomb - that ain't gonna ever happen in THIS universe!

So that could be considered a win.

Kerry definitely continued to look and act Presidential - I do believe he comforted and reassured people who don't want bunkerboy and were looking for some solace in deciding to vote FOR Kerry.

They would have liked what they saw.

That just might be the most important thing.

9. Yes very lame
and the next question may have been...If you were a tree what kind of tree would you be? And as for the spit in the corner of oil slicks mouth I have seen that in many drunks.

10. I thought so, too.
But another way to look at it - for the lazy and ignorant Catholics who've only heard disparaging things about the heretic-should-be-excommunicated Kerry and the God-like bunkerboy, this may have helped them realize that it is Kerry - the Catholic like themselves - that they have most in common with - as opposed to the hypocrit, lying, criminal, opportunist who is currently occupying OUR White House.

11. I thought it was a pretty good debate
And Kerry did a great job.

Kerry delivered hard hitting answers while remaining calm and collected. Bush came across as impatient and alienated from reality.

13. I disagree..
Not only did PaPa Smirk look like a deer caught in the headlights through the entire debate, he was turning red alot. That to me is the sign of an idiot who is embarassed because of a loss of words.

All his answers tonight were traced back to education, like that's really gonna solve 'Murica's problem, and he blatantly talked around practically every question asked.

Oh yeah, the spittle from cottonmouth. You get that when you have a drug problem, right?

14. I'll say one thing - they treat Kerry's FACTS and bunkerboy's LIES as
being equal.

The whore media just look at superficialities - do not want to delve any deeper.

15. I agree
same shit, different day. I heard nothing new. Bush's drugs were adjusted so he wasn't too off the wall. I was hoping for a meltdown. Kerry kind of phoning it in. Oh please, bush is a great father? He should have jumped on the Canadian flu shot thing. And I think it has to be karen hughes feeding the lines because bush repeated the word litany about 4 times and that's one of her things. And some of those questions. Sen. Kerry, would you work to bring America together? Duh, oh no, Bob, I will try to keep us all divided. Jesus H. I think that was the dumbest question of the night.

16. To be rivaled only by
"What do you learn from the women in your life?" How about, "Mr. President, why did you postpone your physical this year, and oh, by the way, what's that thing on your back?" Now those are questions worth asking.
