I'm disappointed in Josh Marshall...
...he's decided to run an ad for Ann Coulter's book...he himself has written in the past about "other" news media "bending over backwards" to seem fair...it's the ultimate in hypocrisy. He says it boils down to bucks, but I'm not feeing it...here...

1. Nothing to be disappointed about.

If Coulter's publisher wants to spend their money supporting an important progressive writer, that is good for us.

It's certainly not good for them, as they aren't going to get any substantial number of new readers from Marshall's site.

Where else would you prefer they spend their money?

2. I don't like it, but who am I to complain...
I also read more right leaning blogs like Andrew Sullivans as well so do I stop reading a left leaning and informative blog like Marshall's just because of that?

4. A bit disturbing, I agree ...
... but at least we are feasting on those that seek to subdue us.

5. Personally, I understand his rationale...
and admire him for taking a principled stand. I really don't see it as a big deal and if Ann Coulter wants to waste resources advertising on a site that is highly unlikely to produce book sells, it further underscores her stupidity.

6. What a lame thing to complain about
The ad helps fund Marshall ripping the GOP every day. I think it's funny that Ann Coulter's ad budget is subsidizing the left. Yet for some reason people prefer to see it the other way around, as Josh supporting Coulter.

Why the hell are we targeting Sinclair advertisers again?

If he was running an ad for Coulter's book for FREE then we would have something to talk about.
