3. I actually went to the station in St. Paul

I told the receptionist that I was going to boycott all products advertised on their station, and she suggested I make my complaint on the corporate web site, whatever. It should be noted that I had to talk to her on a phone outside a glass door, as they would not let me in. I suspect that they were afraid of my two boys, a three year old and a five year old, which, was probably a good call on their part.

You can try again and also double check your email addresses or go to another thread here on DU and send copies of your emails to other email addresses besides the ones you used that did not work. I resent my FCC one because I noticed that the original link had the v at the end left off and it went through on a second try.

5. I sent emails to Sinclair,

A bunch of affiliate stations, a bunch of advertisers, Filed a complaint with FCC & FEC, emailed 2 senators. Only got one email to an advertiser sales rep returned.

6. I sent e-mails to some advertisers and local Sinclair station.

I did receive an e-mail back from GM. They gave me a phone number to call. It's GM Customer Assistance Center---1-800-222-1020. They are open from 8a to 11p. More people need to call and e-mail because it didn't seem from the conversation I had with them that many people had complained.

It's the advertisers who would care about a displeased public. TV stations like controversy. It increases viewership.
