Bernie Ward: Bush mentions Dred Scott... code for Roe v. Wade?

Sorry if this has been discussed already. Didn't see any threads yet.

Bernie is saying that Dred Scott is 'right to lifer' code for Roe v. Wade. So that when Bush is saying he would not appoint judges that support Dred Scott, he is really saying that he would not appoint justices that support RvW. Basically throwing his pro-lifer fundamentalist base a bone under the radar.

It does kind of explain why *bush would even bring up Dred Scott, because it made no sense when he did.

Anyone have proof or links to substantiate this?
