I'm just thinking that something feels different...the spin seems to be losing its power....I mean, my god, the Fox poll showed Kerry ahead???? WOW

I keep running this parallel through my mind: That this is similar to the long denial of an abused spouse who at some point crosses that threshold of fear that trapped them, becomes ready to see the light for one reason or another and thennnnnn!!! Finally starts action to take back her life!!

dad or the blinders will come right back on pretty soon. (I'm referring to the spouse - er, psychotic girlfriend - thing, not Bush BTW).

that can happen, it can take time, depending on where the abused person's self-respect and other factors are at. NOt necessarily a smooth process.

I was thinking of many (:eyes: lol) experiences I've had of being emotionally dependent on a scumbag "partner", and working up to believing the bad reality was worse than my love illusion.

The pictures I'm seeing on various websites are showing Kerry looking better than Bush. Media folks do NOT just pick photos casually; their choosing flattering, strong looking pics of Kerry indicates a change of attitude. IMHO
