Should Kerry bust out the "L" word tonight?
Should he finally take the finishing step and call * and his administration liars?

Personally I think he should. It would finally cement the stage that that they have been setting up for the past few months by saying he has a problem with the truth.

Call that mother fucker a liar!

I would do that at the very end. Last Friday, it was a straigh punch to the nose. Tonight is just the uppercut to the chin.

2. Nah, saying "not leveling with the American people"
is probably good enough.
It pretty much conveys the message while keeping and illusion of civility.

8. I'm getting kinda tired of that one...
I expect other people are too.

How 'bout "intentionally misleading the American people"

That's just short of "liar"

3. I agree
But not at the beginning of the debate. Near the end, after he gives him another spanking -- finish him off with the "l" word.

11. He should come out and say he's the most liberal person to ever
walk the face of the earth...

He should say he's so liberal he sometimes has dreams of running through a rainforest naked with Richard Simmons and Barney.

7. No.
The "uninvolved woman" can't bear to look at politics in part because of all the name-calling.

Kerry needs to be positive, visionary. So "liar" is definitely out.

"That is a lie" - PERHAPS an appropriate response ONLY if W unleashes a really NASTY zinger.

I prefer the K/E team's current tack: "misled the American people" "isn't being straight with the American people" "isn't telling the truth" "doesn't reflect the facts"

Clean Air Act, and about his dad and the true coalition he put together.

If he talks about George's problems with the truth, he should frame it in his dad's broken "no new taxes" pledge, or at least get it in there.

In the first debate it freaked out George when Kerry compared W, coalition with his dad's.
