Republicans "dis" the people of California..
Several times on cable TV, we have seen Republican spokesman and Schwartzenegger defenders make comments about Arnold's past sexual adventures, including group sex and/or gang rape. Each and everyone is quick to suggest it won't hurt him at all. After all, this will probably "help" him in California, they say.

Suggesting that everyone in California supports group sex or gang rape is an insult to the good people of California. California does not fit into their little sordid stereotype. They should apologize to the state of California.

1. I seem to remember a phrase used by GOP
"It's all about Character" I wonder what they meant by that.

9. They meant nothing. Empty words, emitted for sound and texture
Nothing more.

The Empty and Hollow Lies of the AntiChrist, who naturally will be worshipped by all people as a Worshipper of Christ.

Sound familiar?

2. They've written off California
And bad-mouthing California plays good in the mid-west and the south.

4. Hey! Almost everyone in the Midwest has cousins in CA
When I went out there for medical treatment the handicab driver, a bus driver, a lab tech and a KFC clerk all had relatives in MN(they thought my accent was cute). The only ones it plays well with are the dittohead Rethugs in the midwest.

3. The talking whores have been dissing California for years
The repukes will say that this disclosure will help because its the very best spin they can put on it, and of course, all those 'morally left coasters' will just vote for Ahrnold ought of envy alone.
Fuck the whores, metaphorically, of course. I live in California, and I think that it is entirely possible that Davis will survive the recall effort, and that if he doesn't, his lt gov will take over. I refuse to believe there is even a plurality of people in this state that want Ahrnold for governor.
The whores can dis my state until shit comes out their ears. I couldn't care less. Most of them would probably like to be here.

5. Gang rape?
I've read the Oui magazine interview and all the other sordid crap, but nowhere have I seen any allegations of non-consensual sex.

Can anyone provide a link that suggests Schwarzenegger was ever involved in a rape?

7. Rape is a VIOLENT CRIME, a felony
This is not an issue of semantics.

By applying the term "rape" to consensual sex acts you diminish the suffering of victims of real rape.

8. there is at least a hint of non-consensuality
although i agree that the word "rape" is being bandied about too loosely, you should be aware that the word "gangbang" (which the interviewer used and Arnold agreed with), does have that connotation. look it up.

the description used by Schwarzenegger, "Everybody jumped on her", also sounds to be of questionable "consensuality".

so i'd say it is an open question.

10. Either a crime was committed OR NOT!
No charges were filed, so anyone who says that Mr. Schwarzenegger (whom I despise personally) was involved in a rape, has defamed the man.

11. Not every crime is discovered or reported...
That doesn't mean it wasn't "committed"...Arnold has defamed himself.

12. Charges are not always filed
look again to the Air Force Academy situation. I think they don't even expect to have a clue about the extent of the problem without an anonymous survey.

I agree with the person you are responding to.

13. not all crimes result in prosecution, let alone conviction
you're using the word "defame" even more loosely than the others are using the word "rape".

14. Was he charged with rape?
I don't think so. I haven't even seen where (besides DU and probably some blogs)he has even been accused of rape.

So now it's Arnold's penis instead of Clinton's? Give it a rest.
