Why not one question on the environment??
I kept waiting for a question, any question as I looked forward to seeing how Cheney would attempt to answer... Anyone know why this topic was COMPLETELY ignored... Especially since the Bush Admin has done more damage than any presidency since the history of the founding of the EPA... WHY is this being ignored?? This is not my top issue but I have been stewing about it all night... Any one have some insight on this??????????????

2. Friday................
Kerry will wipe the floor with Bush on the environment. Bush hasn't got a leg to stand on with this issue. Cheney would turn the country into a toxic, chemically saturated cesspool if he had his way. He certainly didn't want to bring it up, and Edwards was too busy fending off Cheney's lies to bring it up.
Not to worry, this WILL come up in the mext Pesidential Debate and Bush will have his legs cut off beneath him.

3. Cheney's secret energy task force should have been foremost in the debate
Ifill kept re-asking the questions about Iraq. I wonder if she thought she was going to have a big fire-fight in the debate and make lots of headlines.

4. Viewers want the red meat issues and that is what TV provides
When Joe Sixpack hears environment he flips the channel to wrestling. TV is only going to provide the issues that keep people glued (Iraq, Social Security, Gay Marriage, etc.)

Anyway, it is an issue that no one wants to touch. Repubs know where * stands and they dont care. Dems care and know where Kerry stands. If Kerry or Edwards would bring to up they would be accused of taking their attention away from serious issues for frivolous matters.

Anyway it is an issue that no matter your track record the opinion you express is never going to stray too far from the norm. No one is going to say "I hate nature and want to scorch it off the earth."
