I said, "I can't answer that." And I can't. I know that I should have said "Kerry," but this is one of those "Who'd you rather have a drink with" questions that is designed to get my "real feelings" by creating a scenario that disables my rote response, and it's just too damned trivial for an election of this importance.

The pollster also asked me if I were a Nascar fan and if I were aware of the labor troubles in the National Hockey League.
