Was Bush wearing an earpiece? What do you think

During the Presidential Debate Bush made what may be his most costly error- he exposed that he’s using an earpiece to help him answer debate questions. In the middle of an answer bush said, "now let me finish" as if someone was interrupting him - yet nobody did - he was talking to the person in his earpiece.

And it's crazy to say he did. His two biggest problems were 1. Not knowing what to say and 2. Repeating the same shit over and over again. If he had an ear piece both of these problems would have not been present. Rove would not have given him the same material over and over.

Now, if he came out speaking well and kept bringing up constant new material THEN it would be a valid concern. Instead he crashed royally. The fact of the matter though is that his biggest problems would have been solved by an ear piece and they were not. Therefore it's fairly obvious he wasn't using one.

...the "let me finish" thing may have been a respone to the moderator's motions. You can tell when someone's about to interrupt you, and perhaps Lehrer (sp?) was motioning in some way related to that. You wouldn't know that by simply listening to an audio clip.

what I think happened to cause his meltdown is that the earpiece was signal blocked just before the start of the debate - he was relying on it, but then was left high and dry and choked and paniced.

Notice that he was doing al right for about a half hour then came the meltdown. His earpiece malfunctioned. Then his meds made his mouth dry, so he started gulping down water which made him need to pee real bad. Watch him in the split screen on C-Span. I taped it and watched again. Those facial expressions and body movements tell the tale.

Almost every single interview or "press conference" he has, I've highly suspected he's worn an earpiece. He'll start to answer a question and then stumble, embarrassingly long, until something prompts him and he starts talking again, with the remainder of a brilliantly rehearsed response (maybe its No. 10, maybe 12). Some people have brought up these pauses in his speech as misleading his true intelligence, but I concluded long ago his head's almost wooden and hallow. The person speaking into that earpiece holds the intelligence (probably Rove).
