When *are* they going to march Osama out?
Edited on Sat Oct-02-04 05:27 PM by DemsUnite
If they got him, they better use him. Quick. It's all I can think of that would dramatically shift momentum and deliver, without a doubt, another term.

Who wants to make a guess? Thirty days to choose from ...

I'm gonna bookmark the thread.

on edit:

After further ponderance, my gut says a deal was struck at Tora Bora, making Osama untouchable. There will be a string of CIA, er ... Al Qaeda operatives offered up as a result of the recent offensive in Iraq. Culminating in the capture or corpse of Osama's "right hand man," Abu Musab Zarqawi.

"See, we are fighting Al Qaeda. Iraq is the place to be doing it, and we are winning! No thanks to Senator Kerry."

2. After Kerry wipes the floor with shrub in the last debate
Oct 14 so after the 14 but before the 21

Then there will be 12 days of non stop media hype & praise for the boy king.

Anyone who points out the obvious like isn't it peculiar that they catch him so close to the election will be labeled UNPATRIOTIC & Anti American

3. Musharraf probably wants more for Osama...
...than Bushboy can give. He's stuck. No Osama. No jobs. Nothing but the IraqNam mess. I'd say Bushboy is pretty well screwed, unless he can prove that Kerry is the anti-Christ...*and* gay.

4. I don't think they have him.
If they did, I think they'd be constantly talking about what a major threat he is to America and how they're on the verge of catching him.

9. Ding, Ding! You nailed it. If they had him, they sure wouldn't avoid
saying his name like the plague. Excellent point.

5. They can't because they cannot predict what will happen
Once they trot Osama out, terrorism will INCREASE...suicide missions will increase...they have such a poor handle on it, they have NO IDEA where or when the events will occur and they cannot take that risk...there will be no Osama surprise...it won't work and will only harm them

6. That would indicate they have a problem with terrorism increasing.
But they don't really care about terrorism.

7. No they don't but they do care about looking bad and being weak on terror
a large terror event would probably not be what occurred but many small ones that they can't control...they can't afford that risk

10. Too late for that.
Terrorist attacks have gone up under Bush. The general populace is unaware.

8. During the second debate, Andrew Card will come whisper in Georgie's ear
and Georgie will say, "I'm sorry folks, I got to do some presidentical work" and he will walk off the stage, and later that evening it will be announced that they have thawed, er, "found" OBL.

11. Who knows, Osama may just show up, voluntarily,
to give his Archenemy, and most-effective recruiter, a sequel.
