1. Wow
It would just break my fuckin' heart if Jimmy Kimmel was some sort of right-winger. Who'd have thunk it, he's so progressive.

He's a wretched gutter rat and I expect he loves the sweat on W's balls. Why would you think otherwise?

I know he's made a few insensitive comments on his show but I wanted other people opinions on this guy.

5. Jimmy Kimmel is a liberal
He did Rocky Sillivans during the RNC in New York with Barry Crimmins and Jello Biafra, and he killed. I saw it with mine own eyes.

If you can't see the hilarious irony in the comment that seems to so disturb you, I'd suggest that you were born without an irony gene.

7. just some snarky-ness

It was a shot at Bush's silly closing sentence, in which he overemphasized the word "God" so strongly and calculatedly obviously that it was ridiculous. It was because Kerry used 'and God bless America' as his closing phrase- he went first- which badly undercut Bush's usual game of trying to keep a near-monopoly on the God-talk.

Kimmel meant what he said in an ironic way. Of course it bugs anyone with a mind and some respect for Christianity's essentials that Bush so brazenly sucks up to the Pharisee-American vote.
