Lynne Cheney, writing about forbidden love and lust
Before Lynne was sent on the campaign trail to "soften" Dick's terrifying persona, (and make fun of orange suntans) she was a novelist, you know. Here is an excerpt from her works:

"The women who embraced in the wagon were Adam and Eve crossing a dark cathdral stage---no, Eve and Eve, loving one another as they would not be able to once they ate of the fruit and knew themselves as they truly were. She felt curiously moved, curiously envious of them. She had never to this moment thought Eden a particularly attractive paradise, based as it was on naivite, (oops that's FRENCH Lynny!) but she saw that the women in the cart had a passionate, loving intimacy forever closed to her. How strong it made them! What comfort it gave!"

1. Before she wrote the book she was Homecoming Queen
...A picture's worth 1000 words. I will respectfully refrain from comment. I added the "666" to the photo but that does not necessarily mean that Cheney ISN'T the AntiChrist.

4. Is that really The Dick?
It seems that his evilness has rendered him just a shadow of his former self.

9. You just right-click on the picture, and copy the Address (URL)

from the dialogue box that pops up. Thus:

Edit: Hmmm, it shows up on my Edit screen, but not in the thread. I suspect they block remote linking. If you knew this stuff already, all apologies.

17. Is this what you're trying for?
Edited on Wed Sep-29-04 07:33 PM by crunchyfrog

Just do the URL and don't put any brackets or anything around it. Also, I think it has to end in either jpg or gif. It has to be an actual picture and not a page.

Hope that helps.

Edit: It looks like it didn't take on my post. I've discovered that pictures on that site are notoriously hard to link to. The Bush pics in my sig line came from that site, but I had to get them put on a different server before I could use them.

Unfortunately, that get's a whole lot more complicated.:(

8. Dick must have had some BIG problems with his em .."hang time"..
If you get my drift.

Those are some pretty saucy passages in Lynne's book. My guess is she was writing about what she wasn't getting. Wasn't there some lesbian parts in the book also??

10. My guess is that she's gay herself
why she stays in her marriage is a puzzle, though she probably likes the power and influence. I've thought this for a while, now.

18. Boy would I love
to get my hands on a copy of that book. Unfortunately, she's not allowing it to be reprinted and I think used copies are going for hundreds of dollars. I wonder if I could get it on Library loan or something.

19. my partner suggested
that kerry's team make up a brochure of excerpts from lynne's torid lesbian novel and mail it to all those rabit rightwingers that got the "bible will be banned" mailing.

make sure they know who wrote it and where they can get their very own copy.

what a conundrum. which is worse? banning the bible or proponents (obviously) of those horrible homosexuals running amurika?

they would have a meltdown.
