Everyone at church will be talking about it. The Sunday NFL broadcasts from Fox and CBS will keep cutting to it. Broadcasts of the ML baseball playoffs will keep breaking for updates. NBC will be talking about it during NASCAR coverage. Look out for a Sunday in October. Don't put anything past Rove. If he thinks Bush might lose, the USA might become a dangerous place in October.

Look at all the sports going on. Besides those I mentioned, you also have the NHL and NBA starting up then. All the big ones - football, baseball, NASCAR, basketball, and hockey - are on TV in October.

but you're absolutely right! Didn't we find out about Saddam's capture on a Sunday morning? It's so sad, but I really do think that this "rally around the leader when we're under attack" message would be right down shrubster's road and I shutter to think what they would allow in order to win this election.

5. October is spooky for the financial markets too.

So the impending stock market meltdown will take place in October also. I have a feeling that the second week of October will begin the slide.
