I hope this is OK to post in Gen Disc- Save Americorp for the cuts brought on by His Hypocritical Highness:

Please sign the Save AmeriCorps Petition and encourage your friends to do the same.

We need 70,000+ signatures to get to the magic number of 100,000. It sounds crazy, but if each of us reaches out to 10 friends, and encourages them to do the same, we can be there by next week.

Your ongoing support for national service is the reason that we’re still alive and kicking in the fight to Save AmeriCorps.

In the next 5 minutes you can help us restore $100 million in funding for the upcoming year. If we don’t win, 37,000 fewer AmeriCorps members will serve this year compared with last year.
