Other lies, links from a March 18 letter to media. The media knew.

Here are some links from a letter we wrote to some newspapers and TV stations in our area on March 18, 2003. Note the one from CNN on March 14. Of course they all knew, they just don't want us to remember that.

Fake Iraq Documents Embarrassing to US

This article is from the Washington Times originally, found it linked at Common Dreams:
Agency disavows report on Iraq Arms
http://www.commondreams.org/headlines02/0927-08.htm

SNIP...."The International Atomic Energy Agency says that a report cited by President Bush as evidence that Iraq in 1998 was "six months away" from developing a nuclear weapon does not exist.

"There's never been a report like that issued from this agency," Mark Gwozdecky, the IAEA's chief spokesman, said yesterday in a telephone interview from the agency's headquarters in Vienna, Austria...."

Making Bush Tell the Truth
The Media have to be tougher on this tendency to dissemble.

The report of the IAEA regarding 1441, dated 1/20/03

http://www.thememoryhole.com/war/no-saddam-qaeda.htm
Bush denies any connection between Al Quaeda and Saddam Hussein.
Since the media did not carry this to any extent, a majority of the American
people think it to be true. That is the main reason they support the war.
They honestly believe Saddam caused 9/11.

1. Even back to October some say they were pressured for info.
I have been reading about all this stuff here since last year, and the press now acts so stunned at just the Niger forgery.

SNIP....."Bush’s strategy of world domination also is quickly developing a domestic corollary: silencing political criticism and twisting intelligence reports into whatever shape serves his agenda.

According to a variety of press reports, U.S. intelligence officials say the Bush administration is pressuring them to "cook" the intelligence so Congress and the American people won't hear information that might cause them to question Bush's leadership.

"Basically, cooked information is working its way into high-level pronouncements and there's a lot of unhappiness about it in intelligence, especially among analysts at the CIA," said Vincent Cannistraro, the former head of CIA's counter-intelligence. ...."
