SINCLAIR BROADCASTING IS DROPPING CBS - did something
similar earlier this year...big supporter of fascism.

Do you think Sinclair should hear from us?

Where are Sinclair's affiliates and cities?

Maybe people from there should be writing the FCC and complainting about
the owners, Sinclair.

3. Sinclair's loss
If there is an Indy in the market, they will likely pick up the network.

Sinclair will then have to get into the programming purchase game, and most of the better syndicated shows are likely to be already taken.

2. Sinclair was the same network that would not broadcast nightline
when Koppel read the 800 dead in Iraq

They couldn't be more obvious

4. Tell me how a company can drop a network
and not go bankrupt? Something fishy going on here.

9. It's got to hurt their bottom line, at least for a while
Retooling to provide programming 24/7 without a network to help is a big order.

Some indies do make money but it takes a while and they have to have the best sydicated stuff.

What is more likely to happen, if there are FOX stations in the market, and they are not O&O's, is a swap. Sounds like Sinclair would be more comfortable with FOX anyway.

Ability to swap would depend on the other station and the FOX network.

11. Imperial Amerikan Totalitarians have long been willing to sacrifice profit
in order to seize power.

Look at Bushfriend Rev. Moon and his losses at the Wshington Times-Bushevik to see a prime example of traidng profit for power (and in Moon's case, to get that special brand of Ashcroft "Investigation" for his brainwashing, abuse and murders, which is to say he will go uninvestigated)

Freedom of Information Act Requests

The Freedom of Information Act, commonly known as the FOIA, was enacted by Congress in 1966 to give the American public greater access to the Federal Government's records. You do not have to file a FOIA request to obtain information which is routinely available for public inspection, including records from docketed cases, broadcast applications and related files, petitions for rulemakings, various legal and technical publications, legislative history compilations, etc. Much of this information is already available on the FCC website, but if you would still like to file a FOIA request, follow the instructions on our FOIA web page.

13. Propaganda outlets dont need to be directly profitable to stay in buisness
Propaganda outlets will bring in their funds via preferential treatment from the ruling Party in the government.
