"Papers" want to unseal Senator Heinz estate records

Folks -- this dates back to Aug 18, 2004, but I only heard of it today, when the local "stupedia" did a followup.

"Two newspapers want a judge to unseal the estate records of the late Sen. H. John Heinz III, contending the documents possibly could shed light on Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry's presidential campaign.

Heinz, a popular Republican senator from Fox Chapel and heir to the Heinz food fortune, was killed in an April 1991 plane crash. His widow, now known as Teresa Heinz Kerry, inherited his wealth and married Kerry in May 1995.

The day after John Heinz died, Common Pleas Judge Nathan Schwartz ordered that all documents in the senator's estate be shielded from public view. The court edict did not reveal why the records were sealed and did not indicate a hearing was held on the matter.

"These records would provide valuable insight into the extensive philanthropic activities of Mrs. Heinz Kerry, and answer questions about whether those activities bear any relationship to the presidential campaign of her husband ... Democratic nominee Sen. John Kerry.

What a bunch of fucking vultures. You should have seen these sneaky little creeps on the tv today -- the widely smiling well-groomed chirpy blonde, and the somber young attorneys "just seeking the truth." Senator Heinz, who is much beloved here, and still mourned, died almost 15 years ago, and how this matter has any REAL relevance today is bizarre. The intimation is that our beloved Teresa -- his honorable wife -- is up to something crooked and is misusing his fortune against his wishes.

HOW they came up with that is not logical -- although clearly it is a dirty filthy trick meant to harass Teresa and cast aspersions on her, her husband Sen Kerry, and intimate his campaign is not on the up and up. (Like the Bush campaign, in other words)

Yeah -- this is Scaife, Frothy-Mixture Santorum (Teresa, generously, called him the Forrest Gump of the Senate) and His Chimperial Majesty sending out a goon squad, to harass the honorable Teresa.

Sorry if this is old news, but I just heard of it, and I am livid.

1. Sen Heinz was a Republican and Teresa was too until the -

smear of Sen. Cleland. That's what prompted her to change parties, not the fact that she married Sen. Kerry.

3. They sure forget easily, don't they?

John Heinz was dearly loved, and respected throughout the country.

It is VERY likely he would have been President -- and a fine one, had the man lived.

He was a Republican, although with his rational approach to issues, his tolerance, his moderate stance, his ability to negotiate solutions -- he would be considered a far-left anarcho-syndicalist Communist in today's political climate.

Heaven knows today's "Republicans" (aka Fascist Goons) have certainly turned on the late Senator's beloved wife, even though she lived a blameless life as his wife and was until recently a faithful Republican herself.

Just like the "Support the Troops!" bullshit they peddle -- it's not if you served or not, even if you were wounded or maimed -- ALL that matters to them is that you think exactly like they do, or else they will attempt to assassinate you, through character or perhaps otherwise.
Look at what they have done to fellow republicans! HOW these goons have any credibility with all this treachery they practice is a mystery to me.

2. Kerry doesn't USE Teresa's money. They signed a prenup keeping separate

finances. Kerry has money of his own although certainly not as much as Teresa.

Common knowledge. Period.

But these goons are trying to make it appear that there is some kind of underhanded shit going on.

Heaven knows none of the elephant-fellating local "stupedia" call them on it. None of the local stupedia bring this fact up in reporting this "story".
