There was a conviction, but it was overturned, and the trial started again.

The two trials in Germany were seriously hindered by the behavior of the US agencies who refused to let important witnesses be interrogated (Binalshibh for instance), and who probably tortured these witnesses so that their statements have no value in a German trial.

Seems as though they have something to hide.

Apparently the law enforcement agencies did not manage to find the supporters of the 9/11 attacks and sufficient evidence to convict them. It is not plausible to assume that there were only the 19 hijackers who are now dead, so there must be supporters (assuming there was such a thing as an al Qaeda operation).

That means: Inside the US the war on terror is a complete failure. They did not manage to clear up the worst crime ever committed in the US. Why is Bush still allowed to present himself as a successful leader in the war on terror?

Seriously, in a pleading in the state of Washington, Ashcroft's goons equated medical marijuana with terrorism. so, it has to be bad, huh? If he can't find a real terrorist, might as well go after the pot smokers.
