Poll question: Would You Heckle A Bush* Speech If You Had The Chance To?
Discussion: If so... how would you do it? Would you interrupt him by chanting some slogan? Or by holding up a banner and shouting a stream of vulgar insults? What would you say?

If not, why not?

9. I'm normally against heckling, as I see it rude to interrupt when

someone is talking, but the whole "free speech zone" to make dissent disappear is just wrong. If I were to be the heckler, I'd want to do something creative that would make a point of exposing the hecklees for what they are. Like the guy that wanted to drop all the money on the stock exchange to show folks clawing to gather it up. Something like that.

11. Hell, I was arrested for contempt of court because I said......
I was there as a witness for a case that was dismissed..and the judge said,(to my friend) well, in the future maybe you will behave differently!!!!!!

The reason it was dismissed was becasuse it was an illegal arrest and the cop did not (would not) show up for court because the charges were bogus...

So, after the judge made those remarks I stated....We want our day in court, she (my friend) is innocent....what a dirty look I got....so "slowly I turned...step by step..." the judge says "STOP"...I turned around knowing exactly what was going to happen to me...lucklily the bailiff was out of the court room at the time...and the judge says to me..."sit down" and I started to sit in the regular side...but judge says.."no, sit over there"...indicating the bench reserved for 'police officers'...as I sat there I recall that "I shivvered and I shrank, I shook and I shrank"..the judge looked at me and I looked at him and I knew full well I was going to be arrested for contempt of court....well the judge just fined me...but contempt of court is an arrestable offense..so I was shackled and handcuffed and whisked off to jail to be booked and finger printed..and when they were leading me to my jail cell to await release paperwork...I asked sarcastically "Well, will you be feeding me lunch?"...see...I CANNOT SHUT MY MOUTH!!!...

So therefore I do BELIEVE I would be compelled by some unstoppable force to cry out for JUSTICE!!! :hi:

19. "How many times have you been arrested, Mr. President?"

I could use $2200.

Although I'm not sure asking the question in heckling mode would qualify.

20. No. I wouldn't go to one of his speeches unless I was
forced to, like if I was working for the caterer or something and had to be there. But I don't think heckling impresses him. I would rather write and publish a tell all book like Kitty Kelley, but with all the irrefutable sources to back them. THAT I think he would notice.

21. I voted
yes but I would never be caught dead anywhere near the man. The reason I voted yes is because if I was forced to be there I don't think I could stop myself. Judging by the way I react when he is on TV I am afraid any sense of civility would be gone if I was faced with listening to him.
