a following is because many Americans confuse piety with morality.
It is not necessary for one to follow a religious faith in order to be moral.This is where Europeans and Americans differ. Falwell and Robertson will be laughed off the stage in any European country.

Maybe by the year 2525, if man is still alive and if woman can survive, the U.S. also will be utterly exhausted from internecine warfare and once again willing to give secular governance a chance.

that religious strife isn't worth it. And you are right in saying that people can be moral and not religious. There are times when I come across a person who wears their "Christianity" on their sleeve-and that's when I say, "Uh oh. This guy's a con artist who is out to fleece me."
