Did anyone else notice Lauer didn't read Kelly's book?

At one point in the attack he was quoting from an article and asked Kelly if she'd read the article. Kelly's answer was that it is in the appendix of the book.

Later in the attack he said that in a family so large over a period so long, there must have been some good, but there is none in the book. Kelly then gave positive examples, and Lauer said they weren't in the publishers summary sent to him.

Finally in a confrontation about Bush Sr. and the Saudi re. Gulf War I, Lauer quotes the Saudi ambassador as saying Kelly's claims are false. Kelly remarked that Bob Woodward reported the same facts she had in her book in the Washington Post.

Lauer was so poorly prepared it was pitiful. But he was rude so the interview will be viewed as a victory by the right.

She made some very good points that a lot of what she claims is backed up by the public record and/or reports by mainstream well-respected journalists. Sounds like Matt got his questions from Bushco.

6. Problem is he looked bad and lied and no one of the opposition will

admit it. I think we should all send him e-mail saying that we have seen the video of him putting with Bush and the we know he hasn't read the book.
