Iraq is in flames....reporter KILLED during live news report on the streets of Baghdad....American BOMBING everywhere...missiles flying into the American Green Zone....Iraqi judges resigning to avoid being KILLED...Iraqi judges, mayors, council members being KILLED....

will Saddam escape in the Iraqi chaos? or perhaps, he has already escaped....Saddam hasn't been seen lately....

2. In a year or so, the U.S. will probably be begging him to come
back and rule the country.

Security back, terrorists caught and jailed, oil flowing, crime down.

He was a great dictator from the U.S. security perspective.

How many more or fewer innocents have been killed/maimed/tortured/raped when you have to choose between Saddam and Uncle Sam?

4. prisoners have escaped from some of the most 'tightly guarded'
United States Prisons, when NO war was going on outside, and no missiles were being shot into the area...

with a full-blown war going on, bombs and rockets and gunshots everywhere, it might make it easier to escape...

Iraqis are likely doing the laundry, cleaning and other chores around the prison, including transporting supplies, doing the food, and TRAINING into prison guard positions for the U.S.A......

chaotic situations always make it easier to move around or escape...

5. I don't think so.
Executed to prevent him from testifying is more likely.

7. capturing saddam was just another BIG bush* mistake that he will regret

now, bush* is really stuck with a guy, who he doesn't want to bring to trial, since saddam KNOWS a lot about what bush* and his father have done....and likely, saddam has stashed some 'evidence' to be used against the American pResident....

if bush* was smart, saddam would have been KILLED in the process of being captured....but who ever thought bush* was smart?

6. he's not even IN iraq
qatar, guantanamo, ascension, kuwait. anywhere but IN iraq.

they better hurry up & execute him; i can see him getting freed by the iraqi 'government' & running for president of iraq. and winning.
