Look at what they did to the Clintons! From the very first day, they tried to bring him down!!! I'm concerned, for our country, that they will do that very same thing all over again.

1. they will file.....
articles of impeachment because Kerry voted to authorize the war in Iraq because no WMD have been found and because there is no Sadaam/911 connection.

2. Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty
we must be prepared. Check every freeper attack and counter it with the truth. Of course, if we get more Dems elected to Congress, it will only help Kerry....

6. Oh, absolutely! I'm doing everything I can to get a Dem majority
in the Senate & the House, but I don't feel terribly confident about the House. What has to happen to finally break this "I'm going to get you because you tried to impeach Nixon" attitude?

I actually see this kind of attitude on both sides. Neither seem terribly concerned about the Country! It's all shooting at each other. I know I'm not the only American who feels this way. We heard in past campaigns that the people don't like it when nothing gets done in Congress. Well, I think it goes beyond that. I think the people are damn disgusted that nothing for them gets done. Everything is always about who can get funding for a new bridge to nowhere, or a memorial statue for some goofball who nobody know outside of his home town.

I have actually promopted voting against ANY incumbant! Show them that it's the voters back home who elect them, not the guys from K Street who make their lives cushy.

4. They will start screeching, "It's every American's patriotic duty...
to question the president" Their mantra during the Clinton years (that they have suspended during the boy king's reign)

I think we should all wear berets and carry around the newly legal assault weapons just to make sure the freeps and their ilk keep in line. We've had enough right wing nutcases cutting down our guys.

For what it's worth, I'm joking.

What will we do if Bush steals another election? I'm going underground--literally. I'm going to dig a hole/bunker in my backyard and go crawl in it for the next 4 years. I'll bring my computer, of course. :)

On edit: I should say that I'm optimistic about a Kerry win.

7. The good news is we've learned our lesson
The freepers love to shout about how Air America for example will go down in ratings drastically when the election is over, however Air America's job will have just begun as the attacks will swarm in and will need to be addressed and debunked and represent the other side of talk radio. When Clinton was prez, the freepers had a lock on the talk radio market this will not be the case this time.

We know their game now they will not do to Kerry what they did to Clinton and Gore.

9. FCC

We can get Kerry to change the FCC so the News is not all right-wing and go back to the 50/50 rule.

Air America coming to Atlanta
By Rodney Ho | Friday, September 10, 2004, 08:39 PM

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

For those of you waiting for Air America on an Atlanta radio station, it will debut sometime next week (the earliest being Sept. 15) on 1690/WSWK on the AM dial, according to Atlanta-based Air America president Jon Sinton. The call letters will change eventually to WWAA-AM.

My first post after months and months of visiting. Hi.

10. In January, they will begin impeachment proceedings
It won't matter what the charges are trumped up to be, they'll just make shit up. Like they did with Clinton.

12. That's exactly what I'm afraid of! I don't like it when some on DU
talk of impeaching shrub either! He's an idiot, but we are letting him get away with everything he's doing.

Sure there's supposed to be adversaries, and they are supposed to disagree, but the end result is SUPPOSED to be "What's best for the Nation". I haven't seen that attitude for decades.

16. Oh, man, they are going to try to nail Kerry to the far wall
And we're going to be on the defensive for the next 4-8 years. Luckily, we're used to it.

18. Same thing the did to Clinton
When Clinton beat Bush 41, I saw, on election night, professionally printed "Impeach Clinton" signs being waved around by local "Young Republicans for Freedom" members. I fully expect to see simular signs the evening of November 2nd when Kerry wins.

the day after the election in '92. Impeach Clinton Now. Before he had even been inaugurated.
