just got back from protesting good ol' Halliburton Dick!

a buddy called me this morning and informed me that cheney was going to be downtown this afternoon (in milwaukee).

so i got my shit together and we headed on down there. met up with about 75 other people sporting anti-bush pro-kerry shirts and signs including gil sandusky, who served with kerry on his swift boat. marched over to the busiest street in downtown and got a HUGE response! EVERYONE was honking and giving us a thumbs up, barely any bush supporters, i'd say 10 at the absolute most and i was out there for an hour and a half!

if milwaukee has a good turnout then wisconsin will definitely go for kerry!

EDIT: forgot to mention that there was a group of Billionaires for Bush looking as marvelous as ever! and i got a lot of laughs with the sign i was holding: "No More Dick. Cheney Is A Dick"

and a lot of the Milwaukee cops (who endorsed Bush in 2000) were giving us dirty looks, one of them was even VIDEOTAPING us!
