Tonight's thread from the DUer who went into a Barnes & Noble and placed pro-Kerry books in front of all the pro-Bush books got me to thinking. Over the years, I've done some things to right-wingers of which certain folks around these parts may not approve! Here's what comes to mind:
1. In the parking lot of the office building in which I worked was a pick-up truck with the bumper sticker, I DON'T BRAKE FOR LIBERALS. On my lunch break, I drove to a nearby feminist bookstore and bought a sticker that read, I'M GAY AND I'M PROUD. After lunch, I drove back to the office building and placed my new sticker on the pick-up truck's rear bumper, directly over the anti-liberal message. I still wonder how long it took the owner of that truck to notice my little gift, and whether or not it caused him any embarrassment!
2. I got behind a car with all sorts of Christian fundamentalist bumper stickers. As the driver made a left turn and I continued straight ahead, I stuck my head out the driver's side window and screamed, "Atheism fuckin' rules!"
3. I came across a minivan with all sorts of idiotic right-wing bumper stickers. SO I left the following note on its windshield: SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL ANTI-WAR, SOCIALIST, HOMOSEXUAL, VEGETARIAN ATHEIST! Shame I didn't have time to stick around to see the guy's reaction.
There's lots of other shit that I've pulled against right-winger since I became radicalized in my early 20s (I'm 38 now), but that's all I can remember at the moment.
