Just hear Ron Silver on Marty Kaplan.........
Man, how in the world do you argue with that kind of blind hatred? You can just about see the smoke coming out of his ears.

Everything has change for him since 911. Nothing else matters to him right now except our unilateral action against any perceived threat. Healthcare? No, first things first. War, war, war. Yep that's the ticket for a brighter future for us and our kids.

He compared the intervention in Kosovo to the invasion of Iraq, Agress with Clinton that he did it without UN approval. What do you think about that statement? One thing I do know is that he never lied about the reasons we intervened.

Does he know that this is a never-ending war, or does he just not care?

Does ne not know that they either let or made this attack happen? Sorry if that statement offends anyone, but it's what I believe. The enemy right now is coming from within.

2. Did he happen to also mention
that Bush based a bulk of his 2000 campaigning on being critical of "Nation Building?"

Bush: It started off as a humanitarian mission then changed into a nation-building mission and that’s where the mission went wrong. I think our troops ought to be used to fight and win war. But in this case, it was a nation-building exercise. And same with Haiti. I wouldn’t have supported either.

4. Sounds exactly like..
..Dennis Miller.

"Everything has change for him since 911. Nothing else matters to him right now except our unilateral action against any perceived threat. Healthcare? No, first things first. War, war, war. Yep that's the ticket for a brighter future for us and our kids." - you just described every post-9/11, born-again Bush supporter.

5. Haven't seen him on
the silver screen lately, maybe that's why he's buddying up to the pukes. I always hated him as an actor.

10. What's really wierd...
Edited on Sat Sep-04-04 06:09 PM by tonekat
...is that I've been thinking for a long time now that Bush really seemed to get a lot of his platform from "Timecop", a movie featuring Silver, who played the role of an evil industrialist type taking advantage of a time machine, while reciting things like: (not verbatim) "if people can't afford to live in the new America, they can move to Mexico!"
