3. It was delightful to leave the house this morning

And find my street wasn't an armed camp of dozens of helmeted cops wielding clubs, as it has been every day since last Saturday. And I am 18 blocks from MSG - not even in the real lockdown area.

Every cop must have gotten the day off after a week of double-shifts, because I didn't see ONE this morning. If Osama bin Forgotten decided to arrive in NYC today, he would be quite safe. I guess you only need police protection if you are a Republican.

4. We should "smudge" the city now

To drive away the evil spirits which have been gathered here by the GOP's huge karmic debt (similar in size to their national debt).

Smudging is associated with native americans and involves burning sage or other sweet grasses in order to cleanse an area.

It would get media play locally since so many are disgusted by the now concluded RNC.
