Now, if Ron Reagan would just say over and over again
That bu$h was NOT an athlete in college, he was a cheerleader---and that even tho he lives on a ranch and wears cowboy clothes, he is afraid of horses...I guarantee you, the South would go Democrat.

5. Supposedly in Karen's book
she tells a story about Bush telling someone, I think it was Blair, that he played varsity rugby at Yale. And someone investigated and found there has never been varsity rugby at Yale. I do not have Hughes' book so I can't varify this.

8. There was a pic on DU last week...
...of little georgie* decked out in a rugby suit punching another player in the face. A cheap, illegal shot. The picture looked authentic. If so, he at least played rugby for a team once.

9. Democrat-ic, that is, Ann
Edited on Thu Sep-02-04 08:41 PM by tom_paine
The Busheviks have taught us that slur by repetition, the "Democrat" is an adjective, as in "Democrat Lawyer"

Well, that slur, has the identical grammatic identity as the slur "Jew Lawyer" instead of sayig "Jewish lawyer".

They do it on purpose. Any Freep will be HAPPY to tell you the Pravda behind it, which goes something like this:

The Democratic Party isn't about democracy and they are liberal elitists, so it doesn't deserve to be the Democratic Party, which is why I call it the Democrat Party.

If it seems childish and bizarre, Ann, that's because it is. But that is how the Busheviks think and operate. Ask one and find out.

Please don't take this personally, but every time we use their terminology we aid them.

11. Thanks for the lesson, Tom, but....
we math teachers are infamous for being atrocious spellers and worse grammarians! I noticed that when I post on this board, I am usually upset about something, or elated about something, and type very fast (rapidly?) and never proofread! So, feel free to correct my grammar and spelling....just don't question my ardor!
