Real Time Replay ... "asking the french for help"

Bill Maher made an excellent point about George Washington not engaging the British head to head. This was the SAME tactic used by the Vietcon, and now by the Iraqis. They say these insurgents are "terrorists", but wasn't that wha the Vietcong were essentially described as in their day????

Back to Washington. Here is a biting barb that will shut down any Republican with an awarness of history.

"Did General WASHINGTON ask help from the French?????"

You bet your ass he did. Good diplomacy makes for BETTER war. When we have good allies (Revolution, 1812, WWI, WWII) we win. When we LACK allies, we lose (Vietnam).
