March needed on Washington to bring our Troops home from Iraq
Edited on Fri Jul-11-03 01:23 AM by corarose
Al Sharpton should organize a march on Washington to bring our troops home from Iraq.

They are sitting ducks right now because of Jr's lies. The Iraqies do not want us over in their country and I don't blame them at all. We shouldn't have went in and killed their family members and they are mad and they will kill our boys.

Let's get a march going on Washington to bring the troops home.

Jr and his coup should be driven out of Washington.

How about it guys should we organize a March on Washington?

1. yes...
But not to bring the troops back. It's a little late for that now. A "Bush, why don't you tell the truth" march is definitely in order, though.

2. I will march with returning vets against the war when they choose to march
Not until then. I would not want to try and bring someone home who really does not want to come home. Wouldn't make a lot of sense.

3. Your right
But, how can we tell who wants to stay and who wants to come home.

I can't remember seeing any footage of our troops lately.

4. The tip off will be when you see soldiers dressed in uniforms protesting..
...in the streets against the war. Many of them will be in wheel chairs or using crutches. Others will stare unexplainably at you like they seem to be looking past you rather then at you. War does that to battle hardened soldiers. Can't miss them. They stand out in a crowd. I have seen them before with my own eyes long time ago. Yep.

5. A protest to bring troops home from Iraq..hey!
How about a protest to get Bush's ass out of the White House? We should just go for the big bullseye and go across the board. Protest about Bush and his goons! Let's do it big! Make it nationwide!

6. I'll march
...to impeach the man who goes fishing and plays golf while he should be bringing them home. I don't like the way they're forced to treat the Iraqi people, and the frustration of the soldiers isn't lost on me. The arrogance of the man at the podium is always just too sickening.

7. Hold off on this. They're going to rotate out the 3d division.
That means the Rethugs can say "look, they ARE coming home." In reality, of course, they will come home but be replaced by new ones.

I have some plans along these lines, too. But I think the timing will be better after the new troops are in position, sometime in September or October.

8. How about a march to liberate Iraq
You know, democracy, rights to their own oil, peaceful existance, food and medicine... the stuff Bush said he was going to do. We could throw Afghanistan in for good measure.
