Anyone know if there are any plans for global protests on the day Bush gets his nomination? And if there aren't, shouldn't there be. And if there aren't, shouldn't it be easy enough to throw something together with the network that worked the Iraq War protests. It seems to me that if ever there was a day for the world to come together that would be it.
people might resent the implication that they should protest an American election/nomination, I think the world has plenty riding on this election personally but many people might legitimately think "why bother how many Americans could even name our PM/Persident let alone actively follows our elections"
