I don't think abortion should be used as birth control, either,
but I recognize that this decision, along with a great deal of other stuff, is none of my damned business.

2. I detest "pro-lifers" who vote against child care and "pro-choicers" who
treat abortion as if it rated with a tooth extraction.

3. Then don't use abortion as a method of birth control.
You hit it on the head, it's YOUR decision, as it should be. =)

4. I have been telling my RW Sisters all along... NOBODY is for abortion...
In fact Clinton would have signed an anti-abortion bill had it been brought before him. I really don't think they(repugs)wanted that, because they get more out of the issue as it stands ... than if they had had a bill signed.

Just my Humble Opinion....

As the greatest President of the 21st century said, "Abortion should be safe, legal, and rare."

Why would anybody in her right mind choose abortion for contraception? It is dangerous compared to other forms of birth control. It may be an option in the most desperate of circumstances, but not something one would want to do for simple convenience.

Of course, the righties think all abortion is for a woman's convenience no matter how dire the circumstances. But what they really fear is the idea that a woman can't be as easily bound to childbearing any more. That's why so many of them were against birth control in the '50s and '60s. I suspect many of them still are.

7. I don't know any woman who has felt that way....
...and That's all I'm going to say about that.

Except, I didn't feel that way the time it was an issue, nor do I today....

8. I've seen both cases
I went to highschool with a rich girl who got knocked up by her boyfriend and just didn't want the baby. That's "birth-control". My aunt got pregnant and realized that there was a risk to her life if she carried on with the pregnancy. That's necessary. While both are acceptable to me, since I believe in a woman's right to choose, I don't think that it should be a casual thing.
