3. Negative 16,000 votes in a Florida county? I had not heard of that!
Because they needed a 16,000 spread!!!!

21. You can't have pi or the square root of two votes--
--even though math coprocessors allow this. There should flat out not ever be any such thing as a negative vote allowed by software in the first place.

5. She's more concerned about the one machine
Edited on Mon Aug-23-04 01:21 PM by realFedUp
called the "central tabulator"...made by
Sequoia Voting Systems

She is concerned that someone could call
in false votes over a modem into this
machine.

18. In November we get to play "Tron"
With Sequoia's central tabulator.

This all sucks.

Give me a pen, a paper ballot, and people who can count.

This ain't rocket science. People used to know how to count long before we had mechanical or electronic "computers."

Just fill out your absentee ballots friends.
Be sure you mail it in a reliable mailbox....

Did you think four years ago, that some in this country
was so inept and corrupt?

Bev says workers should carry in the votes
from the precincts,
get rid of the modems,
get rid of machines that don't produce any paper record,
use the machines for the absentee ballots to run ballots
through,

And everyone check your registration. Make sure
you are "active" and will be able to vote.

7. Sadly, yes I did
I saw this trend (toward corruption and greed) coming a long way back. If only people would wake up.

10. The Bush engineered shift in Volusia County stole the president elect titl
Do you believe it to be coincidence that a shift of 32,000 phoney Florida (Volusia) votes for Bush happened at 2:09 A.M. - with Bush first cousin John Ellis (described by witnesses as on the phone w/George and Jeb all night) - making the call for FAUX News at 2:16 A.M. - making Bush a fake president-elect - and then right after - the mistaken Volusia votes are shifted back - only AFTER Bush is declared president-elect (a title he clings to - which allows Bush to charaterize Gore's justified recount effort as an attempt to "steal" the presidency from him!)?

This shift (done on a Diebold affiliate system) was characterized as a computer glitch. There were 10 candidates on the ballot in Florida. What are the odds of all of the votes coming out of one particular candidate's totals - Gore's - and going into one other particular candidate's totals - Bush's? A glitch would be non-language gibberish. This was not a glitch! This was a SHIFT - which helped a accomplish a coup which stole control of the country - and the world's most powerful military. As CBS News acknowledged "there would have been no call (for Bush) if these errors had not been in the system."

12. The actual negative vote cfount was
-16,022

The system is far more dangerous now. Jeff Dean had not had enough time to perfect the system.

20. What I meant was, shifting 16,000 out of Gore's total - and adding
16,000 into Bush's (16,022 - as you pointed out) obviously made for a sudden 32,000 gap in Bush's favor. Agreed - that the system is far more dangerous now.

14. The computer voting was the icing on the cake!!!!

They made the switch when they figured out the rest of their vote stealing efforts STILL would not be enough to turn the election.

I deeply fear what might happen if the computer vote totals drastically contradict exit polling. There are no laws in our country for overturning a dirty presidential election. Will the Bush 5 on the Supreme court risk civil war to re-install George Bush??? Would the voters in this country have ANY alternative if the election is stolen once again (this time we will have the evidence).

17. Paul Lukasiak did extensive research on Volusia at the time
He noticed the anomaly right away and did research on it up until the NORC report finally came out. It should be posted somewhere - I will check. Maybe at www.failureisimpossible.com - we were all posting at Salon TT at the time.
