Papantonio on "Unfiltered" (11:30) doing an excellent analysis of
the SwiftVets ads. Listen if you can.
The democrats go to play softball, Republicans are playing baseball... we get hit and say "but we are still going to play softball..."

2. he's Joe Scarborough's law partner
just so you know, in case you are tempted to think he really has the interests of the dems in mind.

4. Look, what he is saying makes a lot of sense. I don't know what
his partnership with Scarborough does for him or for us, but what he is saying today makes sense to me.

5. I don't care if the devil himself is his partner - he speaks the truth.
I never thought in my lifetime that I would see the Dems make the same jaw dropping mistake that Dukakis did in taking the "high road.", etc. Bring back the fercoctah War Room and fight back, you wimps!

9. They both practice in my town. Papantonio is a long-time liberal...
...advocate. The firm (Levin, Papantonio, etc.) has even represented me in a case. They are bar-none the best law firm around here. They are neither "liberal" or "conservative" as a firm. They are just good lawyers.

When they hired Scarborough, I didn't like it. But it was strictly a PR move. There are lots of ultra-conservative yahoos in these parts, and Scarborough helps deflect a lot of that "I hate lawyers and the gub'mint" attitude. Probably draws them many new clients.

I doubt seriously if Scarborough has spent an actual day in court with them (or even worked on a case). You don't hear about it. Hell, how would have time? He's always in DC (or wherever) doing his nightly show!

10. he and Papantonio committed an ethical lapse together
on "Scarborough Country" there was a regular segment called "Rat of the Week" and in one episode they covered a case that their law firm was involved in. They did not disclose this relationship, and did not disclose their own relationship.

In my opinion, this should have been cause to fire Joe, and cancel "Scarborough Country" but this is MSNBC we're talking about, the cable channel that calls Frank Luntz a political analyst.

6. Why does Kerry take his marching orders from McCain anyway?
On the show Papantonio said McCain advised Kerry to denounce the Move On ad and Kerry did so.
Is this crazy of what - isn't this the same McCain who is a huge Republicun and the same guy I saw hugging Bush last week?

8. If I hear McCain's name one more time.........
in regards to Dems, I'm gonna stroke.

McCain is a CON! He may say nice things about a Dem once in a great while but the man is a CON! He is not to be trusted. Now, we all also know Dole is cut from the same cloth (I say this for those who have recently thought Dole had changed and was now a good guy).

These people have spent their lives among these liars and cheats. They are one of them. They will never change.

7. I have been begging them to fight back
from the beginning. Go ahead, be a Democrat of the Truman tradition
and rip the bark off the little nimrod. Push his little buttons and enjoy him coming unglued in public.

Bush is about as stable as a plate full of c-4.
Kerry should throw an actual punch for crissakes.
If he did that, MoveOn would do the rest.
Karl is barely in control of 'little army boots' as it is.
