Why Not Draft John Glenn for the VP Spot?
I know he ran for the Democratic nomination in 1984 but didn't win. Do you think he'd be an interesting candidate?

2. He's 83 years old.
Although he might still be sharp his age is a negative factor.

4. How old is he?
Also, he has this debt problem that still follows him around from 84, but I guess that could be easily paid off.

Otherwise, well respected from an important state. Could lend lots of Washington credibility to Dean or Clark. I wouldn't think he'd help the current senators as much.

Gary Hart

Jesse Jackson

Walter Mondale

John Glenn

Fritz Hollings

George McGoven

I like John Glenn cuz he was a personal friend of Bobby Kennedy. I even believe David Kennedy was watching tv at the Glenn house when his dad was shot.

well my dad shook Glenn's hand, my dad's school was near his house, when Glenn went back in to space 5 years ago and it happened to be Dad's B-day I told him you know he went in to space again, he said he didnt know and told the story. He has a friend who got a newfoundland because of RFK's newfoundland.

11. My 3 favorites for a VP slot
(most probably with Dean at the top) are Clark, Edwards, and Richardson - in that order.
