Why doesn't someone make a television ad about the abortion?
I mean nothing is off the table now. Larry Flynt has written a book about it. Bush is running as a pro-life candidate. Why not make it an issue?

1. That would be fun, wouldn't it?
Kerry would denounce it, of course. But you can't unring a bell.

2. because Democrats do not fight back.
Dem strategists and pols seem to think that by appealing to the best in people and concentrating on issues is the way to win elections.

My observations of the last 26 years is that the elections have gotten nastier and dirtier and that, despite complaints and claims that "going negative" turns people off, these tactics do work. So, unless we want to continue to lose, we must adapt to the not-so-new reality of how to wage, and win, elections.

3. There may not be enough documentation left now -
that would stand media scrutiny. A good idea though, if such documentation or eye witness account could be found. My guess is that Bushco has covered his tracks well.

4. That would be my guess
They would have to persuade the woman to come forward, and possibly the doctor, or at least get their hands on the records of it, plus tie Chicken George both to the fetus and to the funding.

Not an easy thing to do.

7. That woman is "married" to a Bushevik FBI agent
who undoubtedly constantly cheats on her since the "marriage" is his assignment.

5. Lack of documentation that would stand media scrutiny didn't stop them

6. Because it happened before
* found God; therefore, he is forgiven. The fundies would treat this as a non-issue for * and then twist it into a negative for Kerry ("If Kerry was a good Christian, he would have seen the light and become pro-life just like *.")
