David Kay basically lays all the blame for the "botched intelligence" with the NSC.

Unfortunately he all but gives Chimpy a free pass, except to say Chimpy should not have relied so heavily on the NSC for his info.

1. Can't fire her.
He'll alienate the .08 percent of african-americans that are voting for him.

3. I think his camp realizes that it's only .08 votes,
so it makes her pretty expendable.

2. I think Rummy might go first with Condi soon after.
Powell might get a hatchet too along the line.

4. no one's going anywhere.
Except Powell, and he'll leave on his own volition, or if the will of the people triumphs over the will of whoever is on the Supreme Court.

5. Rumsfailed should have been gone AGES ago
At least by the time the prisoner abuse scandal broke.

Chimpy always passes the buck, but who exactly is he passing it to?

ABSOLUTELY NO ONE has been held accountable for failures which led up to 9/11 and Iraq.

NO ONE.

7. Anyone ever read "PARADE" in the Sunday paper?
I know, I know it sucks, but it's there, so... anyway, in the August 1st or 8th edition (8th, I think) there was a question in the "personality parade" section asking who would remain in the administration should Bush win re-election. The answer said it was likely that both Condi AND Rummy would not be around for a second term.

Funny thing is, this question doesn't show up in the archive's on Parade's website. Anyone out there still have a few weeks worth of newspapers around?
