Voting in Venezuela is a really good example for the US.

Voting in Venezuela is a really good example for the US.
EVERYBODY is going to vote,
and ALL THE VOTES will be counted,
and the VOTE TOTALS will determine who runs the country.

If this idea takes hold, we could have somebody new running
the country here in the USA too! :thumbsup:

1. Oh Please. The US's system sucks, but Venezuela isn't any better
People make up this rediculous image about Chavez just because some worse people oppose him. The guy idolizes Castro, he's a demagogue and a hypocrite.

When I saw about the long and very peaceful lines..I was hoping this could happen for our election in Nov.

11. Dictator? Last time i looked, Venezuela was holding an election.
Yes, I believe that the voting turn out in Venezuela may give encouragement to the many disenfranchised Americans. Just as the American Revolution gave encouragement to the French, Venezuela may give the same kind of hope to many Americans. I sure hope so.

And yes, Elian is very happy and healthy in Cuba!!
