2. I'll hand it to Franken
He gets some great guests! Unfortunately, Franken sometimes gets a bit flustered when confronting a Freeper-type. Granted, I am not able to listen that often, but I was disappointed a few times by him in that regards.

4. Not the talk radio approach most are used to
He has callers who disagree with him and he hears them out and then replies. No screaming and yelling and repeating talking points-not needed.

6. I often get frustrated with him
...for the same reason. But I always start my day with an hour of Lynn Cullen out of Pittsburg and then go straight to Franken. At the end of day it's Mike Malloy - who takes no prisoners. On balance, I think there's something for everyone on AAR. But yur point is well taken. Al is far too forgiving.

3. But it said it is a repeat. He said Wednesday, August 11???
I switched to DemocracyNow when I heard that date at the beginning. Did he say the wrong date? I am confused.

11. Al is making the case that Bush ignored terrorism before 9/11
That seems to be the focus of part of both interviews.

12. jesus......did you hear the IMPORTANT questions AL asked
RBV, like, did you ask the PRESIDENT if he connected the Aug 6 PDB to the WTC's being hit by an airplane?

uhhhh, no, we didn't

that INFURIATED me, as it's such an OBVIOUS question to ask, especcially the way Al put it, emphasizing the PDB's specific warning of AQaeda's intent to strike INSIDE the US, that it was considering highjacking, AND the fact that RBV had already noted that some sort of SEED report, given to other executives, BASED on the PDB, LEFT out the bit about ACTIVE FBI investigations, which PROVED that the PDB was not historical in nature

there was one other one, about whether they asked him WHY he didn't meet with Hart/Rudman, when the charter of the commission DEMANDED that he do so by Feb 15. again, they did NOT ask him WHY he didn't meet with them

the more I hear about that commission, the more it STINKS
