Please help me name one person that Bush*
has "hugged" If you recall, his agony about deciding to go to war with Iraq was predicated on his terrible burden of "being the one who has to hug the widows" (paraphrase)

I've Googled, I've checked the WH site and some pro-Bush* Vets sites. I assume that they would trumpet his emotional generosity. B ut, I'm finding nothing---no photo op funerals even, no press releases about phone calls made to widows, widowers, orphans or parents of the dead.

Not before 'Mission Accomplished' not up to today August 23.

Am I missing something due to my dislike of the man? Did he indeed "hug" some survivor of a military member killed in Iraq? Or did anyone ask him this question at a press conference?

I'm genuinely curious.

1. zero

it was just another bush LIE.

bush HATES everyone who doesn't make him richer or more powerful.

he despises, utterly, the *individuals* who DIE for his oil war.

2. Jack Daniels?
Sorry, couldn't help it.;-)

I think it extremely unlikely he's hugged anyone that lost a family member in Iraq; if he had, we'd have had it shoved in our faces ad nauseum 24/7 by the SCLM.

7. He is phobic
Insincere people are all phobic of human interaction. It threatens them. He doesn't attend funerals of slain soldiers or statesmen, he doesn't emote, he doesn't feel. To be so inhuman, you have to be inhuman.

Compassionate conservative. Asshole.

9. That looks like the same sort of
tentative hand-on-the-back I give members of my family, whom I do not like because they are blathering, slavering wingnuts.
